Fewer repetitive tasks, better flow: AI in the everyday work of a small company

Starting point

A small company where much of the everyday work was manual. The sales team was expected to fill in the CRM after every customer contact, what happened in the company was rarely documented, and the same repetitive tasks came back week after week. Time went to administration instead of to what the employees are actually good at.

The engagement

Help the company change its ways of working with AI: save time, simplify data handling and remove the dull, repetitive steps, so that everyone can spend their time on what they are good at.

What I did

• Went through the workflows together with the team and pointed out where time went to manual, repetitive tasks.
• Built AI automations that fill in the CRM for the sales team, so customer contacts are recorded without manual follow-up work.
• Set up a way of working where what happens in the company is documented as it happens, with AI as support, so the knowledge stays and can be found.
• Simplified everyday data handling, so fewer things need to be moved or filled in by hand.

Outcome

Less time on repetitive tasks, better documentation of what happens in the company and a better flow in everyday work. Employees can focus on what they are good at, and it shows in job satisfaction.
